#TurkeyONTour is a unique, award-winning integrated sampling program, created by edana integrated marketing, that reaches the consumer through media relations, social media, and consumer events to encourage the purchase and consumption of Ontario Turkey. #TurkeyONTour operated province-wide via a mobile food trailer and engaged the public at grocery stores and festivals from May-September reaching a widespread audience and targeting the customer at the point of purchase.  We made a little sizzle video to share the success – click above!

Egg Farmers of Ontario’s
Easter Tree

To celebrate Easter, Egg Farmers of Ontario encouraged consumers to Get Crackin’ by creating a celebratory Easter tree. They gave consumers the opportunity to get involved by submitting a photo of their own Easter trees on social media, with #EasterTreeContest for a chance to win an Egg Farmers of Ontario prize pack.  

edana earned more than five million print, digital and broadcast media impressions across 17 pieces of coverage, including Sun Media publications across the country, CTV News Kitchener, CHCH Morning Live, Global Morning Show Kingston, and CP24. This campaign garnered the agency a 2021 Best of CAMA Social Specialty award. 

The Search for Ontario’s
Best Veal Sandwich Campaign

Another award-winner, the Veal Farmers of Ontario (VFO) search for Ontario’s Best Veal Sandwich (OBVS) asked consumers to nominate their favourite veal sandwich spots via social media to be considered for a visit by a team of judges, including John Catucci, host of Food Network Canada’s Big Food Bucket List. The contest, its celebrity spokesperson, ongoing social content and final showdown created a platform that generated 129 restaurant nominations, more than 1.4 million social media impressions and 4.2 million reach via traditional media. It created buzz, drove sales, and resulted in restaurants adding veal to the menu so that they could compete.
